At Jamie’s request, this post is 3 nuggets of wisdom I would give my son. This idea made me think quite a bit. My prayer for my kids every night is for them to grow up big and strong, loving God and loving others. But that’s not as much wisdom as it is a wish.

Hopefully he will get more than 3 bits of wisdom from me in our lifetime, but if I had to limit myself to 3, here they are:

1) You can do anything you want to do and be anything you want to be. You are the only limitation to your own potential.

2) Define who you are. Don’t let others define you.

3) In whatever you do, do your best. Then you will always be successful.

Those are my three. What’s a nugget of wisdom you’d like to share with your children?

UPDATE: Corrected the spelling on Jamie’s name.
