This Sunday at RPC, Timm continued the Uncensored series. This week he focused on time management, or as Timm put it “cheating people with our time.” Here are a few high points from the sermon.

  • My to-do list overshadows my clock.
  • At the end of the day we have disappointed someone somewhere.
  • Everybody’s cheating somebody. We need to be strategic with our cheating. It’s not a question of IF, but WHO.
  • Ephesians 5:15-16  Live on purpose.
  • God is the God of time. He’s not surprised, He’s in control.
  • “I really want to be organic. Organic = lazy.”
  • God doesn’t call you to do little things. When God calls you to do something, you live dillegently and make it happen.
  • Who are you cheating?
  • Sleep is overrated.
  • Don’t allow what’s urgent to to distract what’s important.
  • The #1 issue in the US is the disintegration of the family.
  • “I didn’t promise to love, honor and cherish you (the church).”
  • What does success look like when you’re dead?
  • God, give us the courage to cheat the right people.

Also, Emily brought it on Let Me Sing, there were 2 baptisms, I got asked to do 2 weddings and someone went into labor. Holy cow! Good thing the topic was time management.
