Do you have shoes? If you are a guy, you probably have 3 pairs. Girls have 300 pairs.

Get this. There are people in this world who have never owned pair of shoes in their life.

Now, do you have $5? If so, you can help provide 2 pairs of shoes to people who have none.

How? I’m glad you asked. An organization called Soles4Souls is launching a campaign starting today to raise funds for 50,000 pairs of new shoes in 50 days. That’s 50,00 lives changed between now and December 31st.

Donating is easy and just takes a click and a few minutes. I donated this morning and it took about 2 minutes. It requires no shipping, no wrapping and no trips to the post office. The monetary donation is small, with $5.00 going to buy two pairs of new shoes. Anyone can click and give, and all donations are tax-deductible.

There’s more! After 50,000 pairs have been donated, one person (with a guest of their choosing) will be selected at random to deliver the shoes they purchased to someone in need on one of Soles4Souls’ trips to Mexico! Can you imagine what it would be like to personally give someone their very first pair of shoes?

Here’s what I want you to do: 1) Pray. 2) Go to and see what they are about. 3) If you feel led, then give. 4) Come back here and let me know you are participating. 5) Whether you give or not, spread the word. Cut and paste my post if you wish.

The goal is to change the world, one pair of shoes at a time. Let’s give poverty a swift kick!
